Maritza Parra is a singer, equestrian, a speaker and author who was recently interviewed by Oprah Winfrey for the XM Radio Show: Oprah & Friends: The Soul Series!
She's been riding Andalusian stallions since she can remember! She breeds, trains and performs with these gorgeous animals at her hacienda in San Antonio, Texas. Maritza is the creator The Equine Experience, an interactive and experiential workshop pairing humans with horses. Horses are wonderful mirrors for human emotion. In this workshop, participants interact with these gentle animals for the purpose of learning to lessen fears, doubts and other negative emotions that can hinder people from living to their fullest joyful potential. click here
Singing is a passion for Maritza, she has recorded a cd of Latin American
music, including salsa music. Her producer created a modern salsa version of
Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive that took South America by storm! Maritza
